Canadian politicians and bureaucrats keep smugly bragging about their wonderful system for foodborne disease surveillance? It’s impossible to tell from the various public statements who became sick when, and whether the system really worked or not. "MarketPlace" was broadcasted on Feb 6 and re-ran on CBC NewsWorld on Feb 9. It was about claims made and declined by the major banks (and their underwriter Canada Life) regarding mortgage insurance that the borrowers took when they assumed their mortgage.Link: http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/in_denial/
